Prayer

Prayer

In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established as chief among the mountains; it will be raised above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”
Micah 4:1-2

The invitation is to the mountain of the Lord. A place of encounter and revelation. The call is corporate, come let us go…. and as we respond to God’s invitation he will teach us his ways so that we may walk in his paths.

We are creating regular times at CORE to respond to this invitation. To pray, to listen, to meditate on his word so that God’s ways and his paths becomes ours…

Sunday Pre–Service Prayer

We meet every Sunday at the front of the church at 10.30am and 18.30pm to pray for the church’s ministries and the Sunday services. Everyone is welcome to attend and if you are serving in the church that day (for example with children’s ministry or prayer ministry) you are particularly invited to come and join us.

The Hothouse

Twice a month on a Monday from 7.30pm until 9pm we come together to seek the Lord to pray for the church, the community, the city and beyond.

At these evenings we hope to foster an accepting, secure and open environment that will encourage everyone present to speak out words or pictures they feel the Lord has given them so that we can all be encouraged and challenged together.

Lydia Prayer Group

The Lydia Fellowship International seeks to alert, instruct and mobilise Christian women to pray, with fasting, one day in each calendar month in small prayer cells. The focus of the prayer is for the church, local community, family and the nation.

Our Lydia Prayer Group meets at CORE church on the second Wednesday of every month from 10.30am to 12.30pm and all women are welcome.
