What’s all this RSS, Atom & Syndication nonsense about?
RSS and Atom are specific names for what’s more generally known as a Web Feed. It’s basically a means by which you can subscribe using a News Reader programme to the Newslink updates we publish. The programme then collects the new News items for you like emails, instead of you having to keep checking back for updates.
There are some really great RSS feeds, especially for news sites like BBC, RTE and Breaking News Ireland
There are a variety of News readers available, including online websites, you can use:
