Beyond the Klub
Outings with Kidz Klub
We bring the children on several outings throughout the year to reward good behaviour and participation. Previous trips have included going to Fort Lucan, the Lambert puppet theatre, ENRG adventure centre and bowling.
At the end of each school year a bigger, day away is organised for those who have come regularly to the Klub. Last year, in collaboration with the CORE Kids and Sunshine House (run by St. Vincent De Paul) we held an Olympics sports day in Ballbriggan.
Joint Events with CORE Kids
With so many kids coming into the church on a Saturday and Sunday it’s great to bring them all together for extra special events. We’ve had a great Olympics Sports Day, spectacular Christmas Party and amazing Christian Illusionist so far, and there’s much more to come!
These events are definitely worth looking out for and are advertised both at CORE and at Kidz Klub.
The Saturday Club
The Junior Leaders at Kidz Klub have their own club once a month on a Saturday night. This evening includes games, food and a teaching time with lots of small group discussion. We are currently doing Youth Alpha and this has been a great opportunity to discover what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
All in all it is a fun night and it’s not everyday you get teenagers banging down the door of a church to get in on a Saturday night!!
