Kidz Klub Vision Statement
Sunday Club
Kidz Klub is a dynamic and powerful ministry presenting the love of Jesus in a practical way to children aged four to twelve from the local area around C.O.R.E. At the moment around 80 children attend each week, with around 150 visited each week.
The club takes place on Sunday, with a positive, Bible-based message presented in a way that is fun, exciting and culturally relevant. There is also an interactive and lively praise time, games, activities, and the children are given the opportunity to pray and to receive prayer for themselves and their families.
Home Visits
Each child attending the club receives a personal home visit each week by a Kidz Klub leader. Over the last 10 years we have built up trusting relationships with the children and their parents. We are invited to share in their joys but are also able to support families going through very challenging times. These include family members going to prison, drug and alcohol addictions and unemployment .
Junior Leaders
Many teenagers who have come through Kidz Klub are now serving their community as Junior Leaders in the club. We also run a weekly youth group where they receive encouragement, Christian input and support. As a result they are growing in confidence, self-esteem, leadership skills, and are maturing in their faith.
School Assemblies
Over the years we have developed good relationships with local schools and lead assemblies there on a regular basis. One of the principals recently commented that “nobody teaches these children about God”, and is delighted to have the children attend assemblies that present the gospel in a relevant way.
Family Events
We run three annual events to which the parents of the children attending Kidz Klub are also invited. The Christmas Family Party, the Easter Breakfast and the Summer sports day are great opportunities to further integrate church and local community

Volunteering
We are looking for volunteers with a passion for sharing the love of Jesus with inner city children to join our Kidz Klub team. If you would like to get involved, contact Paddy Heron at the C.O.R.E office. Garda vetting and child protection training are required and arranged for all volunteers.

Donations
We would ask you to prayerfully consider supporting our vital work among the children and young people of inner city Dublin. Kidz Klub costs approximately €50,000 a year, and we depend on donations and the generosity of our supporters. Any donations given will be used only for the Kidz Klub ministry and not for any other ministry within CORE.
