Prayer Vision Meeting
![]()
I can’t believe its already been over 2 months since our first Prayer Vision meeting. A lot has happened since then and as we look towards the next term its a good time to catch up, look at what we have done, what’s worked, what hasn’t, and where we go from here with regards prayer in CORE. So next Monday 9th May at 7.30pm here in CORE we will meet again, everyone is welcome, even if you didn’t make it last time, come along with your thoughts and ideas! If you plan on coming let me know, Amy (pa.corechurch@gmail.com)
Looking back at Easter at CORE

Holy week was even busier than usual this year at CORE. We had our usual holy week gatherings, on Wednesday evening and Friday at noon. This were poignant gatherings allowing us to reflect on both the death and resurrection of Christ. It was great to have some new voices involved in leading these services.
Easter Sunday we had our annual Easter Breakfast and Worship service. It was a lovely morning, with a relaxed family feel about it. The breakfast was delicious – a few people claim that it was the best breakfast CORE has even made – high praise for our chefs Mick Goss, James Reid and team! Big thanks to them and all who helped out on the morning.
In addition to these gatherings we also had The History of the Liberties photographic exhibition open during the day Monday to Wednesday. This was the first time in memory when we have opened the doors midweek and allowed tourists, locals, and those working near by to pop in and have a look around. The exhibition itself was fascinating but more interesting was to see people’s curiosity about the building. Over the 3 days we had approximately 280 people come into the church!! We are now looking into the possibility of getting our own permanent display put together for the summer (If anyone would like to get involved in this project contact james@corechurch.ie).
Prayer Requests and Thanksgivings
![]()
• Give thanks for the gifted worship and sound team we have been blessed with here in CORE and be praying for them for: – An infusion of the Holy Spirit in our worship, to worship in Spirit and Truth. – An anointing on the singers/musicians/sound team – to do what they do for God’s glory. – For more talented musicians & sound people so that we have an abundance. – For good leadership and stewardship – For new songs and music in the Church – For a greater revelation of what it is to worship.
• Pray for the Town Hall meeting on Sunday, pray for wisdom and guidance for the Transition Team as they prepare for it.
• Prayer Requests from Emma in India: Alpha Holy Spirit Day away THIS Saturday (7th May). Please pray that NOTHING will hinder each person from coming (health, work, childcare…), pray for that all the practicalities of the day come together and pray for a beautiful outpouring of the H.S over each life as we pray with them individually on Saturday.
• Pray for our Prayer Vision meeting next Monday evening, for God’s vision for prayer in this church to be sought and realised.
