Holy week is fast approaching so we have a few dates for your diaries…On Wednesday 20th we will be meeting together here in the church for a time of worship and reflection. On Good Friday we will be having “An hour at the cross” service from 12-1pm. Then Easter Sunday we will be having a celebration breakfast here in the church at 9.30am followed by a worship service at 11am. The breakfast is open to family and friends so start thinking about who you might like to bring along.
Evenings of prayer and worship

We gathered together at core to pray for each other, for core and the community around us, for God’s will and purpose and to receive the Holy Spirit corporately. Paddy and Amy led the proceedings and there was ample opportunity to sing, pray reflect and share. That evening Philip had a dream, “I had a very short but vivid dream that night…… In it I was standing on Thomas St. looking up at CORE building and the roof was blazing with fire but was not being consumed. I awoke and remembered it in detail.” – Antonia McGuane.
As we continue to journey through this process of transition and revisioning we feel it is crucial that we are serious about prayer – individually, in smallgroups and corporately. So we are meeting again, on Wed. April 6th for an evening of prayer and worship here in CORE at 7.30pm.
Calling all ladies!!

Are you looking to get into shape for the summer?? Do you want to raise some much need €€ for Kidz Klub and The Solas Project?? Well then look no further, join us and take part in the Women’s mini-marathon on 6th June 2011 at 3pm. This inspirational event is a fun day out for everyone when thousands of women take to the streets of Dublin, it’s a great way to raise some money and get to know more people in our congregation. We are looking for at least 20 women from the CORE community to take part. Participants must be over 14, you can run, jog, walk (or crawl if necessary!) the 10K.
So what are you waiting for??!! If you are interested please email me at clodagh.oreilly@hotmail.com to register your interest! We will have fitness tips, pre-race do’s and don’ts and hopefully have all the men in the congregation cheer us along on race day.
New Wine Ireland – Sligo Summer Conference 5th-10th July 2011

The New Wine Ireland Sligo Summer Conference gives both individuals and churches the opportunity to be part of a big celebration of God’s goodness, generosity and grace. It is time to us to come together from different churches, different denominations, and all the different towns and villages of the island of Ireland to encounter God together. To learn through his Word and from his Spirit, be renewed to know him better, be healed and transformed in body, mind and spirit, get equipped to serve him in new ways, gain fresh vision from what he is doing elsewhere in the world. And to have great fun at the same time! – David and Hilary McClay
For more info on the conference see forms at the back of church or have a look at the website:
