Letter from Nepal

Letter from Nepal

Dear brothers & sister at CORE family,
Love from your family in Nepal! It is a real joy for us to be a part of CORE family! We praise God for the love, faith, generosity and trust in God that the CORE members and leadership team have exercised for the blessing of the nations!

You are a walk the talk community. We are encouraged and very much challenged to live by your faithful walk with God. Our relationship is based on obeying God’s call. Therefore your brothers and sister in Nepal will continue to Pray and stay connected with CORE family.

Milap fellowship in Kathmandu continues to multiply on the mountains.

Living Water Nepal NGO is a great blessing for the Nepali Christian community to share God’s love to our communities.

Our prayer and faith in God at this time of CORE history is that:

‘The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
(Isaiah 58:11-12)
Standing together with love & prayers from Nepal,

Mosa & Prashna Tamang
One behalf of your family in Nepali

Mainly Music – Can you help out?

Mainly Music – Can you help out?

On Thursday mornings from “” to 12 noon, we run Mainly Music for Mums and their
preschool children from the community. This involves half an hour of songs and rhymes followed by tea/coffee for the Mums and play for the children. It is a fantastic group. We currently have about “” families on our books as well as a waiting list. There are usually 25-30 families coming along on any given Thursday. We are finally getting to know some of the Mums better and they all love coming. Kathryn has been leading the music with Tricia’s support and we have already been working on a skeleton team. To continue, we need 4 or 5 new volunteers for welcome, admin, coffee, sound or music. Please let me know if you would like to help on a Thurs morning and please pray that God would make His will clear for us.
Thanks, Helena

Urban Nations Conference – Re-imagining the Church 28th January

Urban Nations Conference – Re-imagining the Church 28th January

Tearfund, IBI and iMAP are co-hosting this 1-day conference for church leaders, youth leaders and all who are passionate about mission. As a staff team we are going and hosting a stand on the work we do in community here in Dublin 8. See below and check out “:http://www.tearfund.ie/
“Urban centres, in Ireland and throughout the globe, are experiencing crisis and encouragement, isolation and community, fear and expectation. The local Church must continue to bring the hope of Christ, amidst these changes. We will explore how the church needs to adapt its praxology to reflect changes due to urbanisation and globalisation. How can the church be a witness in a changing world and how can we bring hope and transformation to broken communities? Come and be inspired and resourced – share the successes and struggles of mission on the front line!”
