Calling all ladies!!

Are you looking to get into shape for the summer?? Do you want to raise some much need €€ for CORE Ministries?? Well then look no further, join us and take part in the Women’s mini-marathon on 6th June 2011 at 3pm. This inspirational event is a fun day out for everyone when thousands of women take to the streets of Dublin, it’s a great way to raise some money and get to know more people in our congregation. We are looking for at least 20 women from the CORE community to take part. Participants must be over 14, you can run, jog, walk (or crawl if necessary!) the 10K.

So what are you waiting for??!! If you are interested please email me at clodagh.oreilly@hotmail.com to register your interest! We will have fitness tips, pre-race do’s and don’ts and hopefully have all the men in the congregation cheer us along on race day.

New Wine Ireland – Sligo Summer Conference 5th-10th July 2011

The New Wine Ireland Sligo Summer Conference gives both individuals and churches the opportunity to be part of a big celebration of God’s goodness, generosity and grace. It is time to us to come together from different churches, different denominations, and all the different towns and villages of the island of Ireland to encounter God together. To learn through his Word and from his Spirit, be renewed to know him better, be healed and transformed in body, mind and spirit, get equipped to serve him in new ways, gain fresh vision from what he is doing elsewhere in the world. LOOKING FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPACT THE NEXT GENERATION?

Kidz Klub is a dynamic and powerful ministry presenting the love of Jesus to children between the ages of 4 and 12. Designed by Bill Wilson of Metro Ministries, Kidz Klub runs successfully in 400 cities worldwide, and has been running in Core for “” years now. We believe passionately about our vision:
“TO SEE ALL THE CHILDREN OF INNER CITY DUBLIN KNOW THE TRANSFORMING LOVE OF JESUS AND CHOOSE TO LIVE FOR HIM.”
Through the one hour energetic programme of games, a praise party and powerful teaching time the children are encouraged to choose God’s way and practically live it out in their daily lives. Every child is highly valued and receives a personal visit at home each week by one of the Kidz Klub team. Kidz Klub takes place in CORE at 11:00 and 2.00 every Saturday during the school term. Prayer Requests and Thanksgivings

• Give thanks for the safe arrival of the Clowns for Haiti container that arrived safely in Haiti last week. Pray for Peter and the team as they travel to Haiti to distribute the goods.
• Please pray for the family of Eamonn Smith who was killed tragically last Thursday. Pray especially for his young son who witnessed the accident.
• Pray for new creative ideas on fundraising for the church and all our ministries.
• Pray for CORE as we continue through this time of transition. Pray especially for all those involved in the selection process for wisdom and guidance.
• Continue to pray for Emma in India and for the Alpha course that her team are currently running in Sonagachi.
