Next Sunday at C.O.R.E

11am: God has given us all things (Precept upon Precept) – Sean Copeland & Flea- market in Newmarket Square 11am- 5pm
New Minister-in-charge appointed

The Trustees are delighted to announce that C.O.R.E will have a new Minister-In-Charge as and from September. Rev. Craig Cooney will join C.O.R.E from Shankill Parish in Lurgan, Co. Armagh, a parish of 1,400 families, where he has served as a curate for five years, including a 16 month period where the parish was between ministers. While there he also pioneered a new Sunday evening congregation ‘ARISE’ which has grown to over 200 in attendance. Before training in Dublin between 2003 and 2006, Craig was involved in marketing and advertising.
Craig’s love of God, his gifts of pastoral care, teaching and his heart to bring people to know Jesus came across both to the Selection Advisory team and to the Trustees in the process of meeting with him and resulted in a unanimous recommendation to the Archbishop for his appointment. Craig is in his mid-30s and is married to Becky who is a speech therapist. We trust that you will welcome them both back to Dublin and prayerfully hold them before God as they plan and indeed undertake this new adventure in their lives. A special thanks to the Selection Advisory team of Philip Larragy, Mary Finn, Helena Goss and Graham Jones for their input into the process. Liberties Flea Market – Sunday 26th June

On Sunday 26th June we have a stand at The Liberties Flea market in Newmarket Square. This is a great opportunity to raise some much needed funds and get out into our local community! You can help in two ways:
1. Volunteers to man the stand on the day – we nearly have the day shifts covered, although would be good to have extra help to cover breaks! But we urgently need 2 volunteers to help clear up at 5pm and someone with a car to transport stuff back to the church! If you can help let Amy know on 4735100 or pa.corechurch@gmail.com
2. We need some stuff to sell at our stand so we are looking for you to clear out your home of unwanted Brick-a-Brack (No Junk please!), Books, CD’s/DVDs, homeware, crafts, unwanted gifts etc. Bring it along to the church as soon as possible!

CORE Kids Summer Break –Calling all Parents!!
![]()
Summer holidays have nearly come around again and as we do each year we are giving our CORE Kids volunteers a much needed summer break! This Sunday 26th June is the last week of kids classes! So from next week we will have activity packs, some games and a DVD set up down in the crèche and back tower room for the kids. This space will not be supervised so parents are responsible to keep an eye are their kids! We love having the kids being part of our worship and are asking parents to encourage their kids to be part of this time, especially the older ones! We also ask parents to ensure that their children don’t go onto the balcony during or after the service. Thank you for your help in making this summer break run as smoothly as possible! – CORE Kids Team
