AM Service: Goodness of God
PM Service: Town Hall Meeting – Vision and New Minister
Town Hall Meeting

Last Wednesday we had our town hall meeting on church finances; it was great to get Clodagh’s input on fundraising and to get some ideas flowing. Our next Town Hall meeting is this Sunday evening at 7.30pm. This will be an opportunity to look at vision and the new minister. Please come along as it would be great to input from as many people as possible!
Our Week of Prayer

Thank you to all of you who participated in our week of prayer, it seems it was a week of blessing, resting in God’s presence and hearing His whispers. In all we prayed for over 80s hours! Incredible! I know there will be many answers to our prayers in the coming weeks, and looking forward to hearing those testimonies but more importantly it seems to have been a lesson for us as a church in learning to quieten our hearts amidst the busyness and set aside some dedicated time with Him. I am learning afresh that as we put aside that time He honours it by coming and meeting with us, just like He did with Moses in the Tent of Meeting.
There have been many requests to keep the room available as a prayer room and so we are currently looking at how best to create a space that is conducive to prayer and a comfortable room for smallgroups to meet in as well as being available for Blaze on Sundays and other meetings as required. Would love to hear your ideas on this and watch this space…!
Rediscovering St. Patricks Day Gathering

As part of 24-7 prayer Ireland’s “What if?” Year of Prayer (see www.24-7prayerireland.com/what-if/) churches, schools and communities across Dublin are praying throughout March (CORE being one of these!!). As a celebration of all the prayer that will be happening we will be gathering together with all these groups on the evening of March 17th.
As well as a chance to hear stories from prayer rooms around the city we will also be hearing from Hazel Mulhare and Janet Craven who will be sharing about the significance of St. Patrick and our early Christian heritage for us today in Ireland. Reuben Coulter from Tearfund will also be sharing on the connection between St. Patrick and modern day slavery. We would love to hear your stories, prayers and facts about Patrick and your experience in the prayer room, so come along and join us in Immanuel Church on Bachelors Walk at 7pm to celebrate the true meaning of St. Patricks Day with us!

“My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest”
Exodus 33 v.14
The theme for this evening is the “Tent of Meeting” following on from Sunday’s talk on Exodus 33. It will be a time for resting in God’s presence and hearing from Him for our own lives and for our church and this community. Come along ready to spend time with Him, and expectant of Him meeting with you. Even if you are not currently in a smallgroup you are very welcome along to this evening on Wednesday the 23rd from 7.30 – 9.30.

Kidz Klub is a dynamic and powerful ministry presenting the love of Jesus to children between the ages of 4 and 12. Designed by Bill Wilson of Metro Ministries, Kidz Klub runs successfully in 400 cities worldwide, and has been running in Core for “” years now. We believe passionately about our vision:
“TO SEE ALL THE CHILDREN OF INNER CITY DUBLIN KNOW THE TRANSFORMING LOVE OF JESUS AND CHOOSE TO LIVE FOR HIM.”
Through the one hour energetic programme of games, a praise party and powerful teaching time the children are encouraged to choose God’s way and practically live it out in their daily lives. Every child is highly valued and receives a personal visit at home each week by one of the Kidz Klub team. Kidz Klub takes place in CORE at 11:00 and 2.00 every Saturday during the school term. If you would like more information, or are interested in presenting Jesus’ love to children of inner city Dublin, contact Paddy Heron at 473-5100 or 0872919590.
