Gift Day
We had a wonderful Gift day service last Sunday morning, which was a great time of worship, testimony, giving and sharing God’s word together. Within the service we heard five fantastic testimonies which were a reminder of just how active God is within our lives and really underpinned Jon’s sermon about believing that God is with us, even when we find ourselves in a place “where we haven’t walked before”- Joshua 3:4. All these testimonies and indeed the talk are up on the website, so if you didn’t hear them, have a listen as they really are encouraging. Thanks to all who gave and pledged financially on Sunday and over the next couple of weeks we will also have an opportunity to give. If you have any questions about ways of giving, please contact the James in the office.
The opportunity to give will continue over the next couple of Sundays.
Liberty Saints
Liberty Saints have entered a team in the Under 17 Leinster Youth’s Cup. This is the first competitive game for the club (i.e. not a friendly) and a huge development. It remains to be seen how the team will fair as the competition is very tough however with a huge support from CORE they might just have an edge on the opposition. We are hoping that 100 people will come out to support the team. Even if you hate sport or think rugby is stupid you can still support and encourage the players. If on the day the players see that people have come out to support them they will be encouraged and built up. It is easy to shout “Come on the Saints!”. The match will be played on Sunday 21st March at 13.00 in College Park (centre of Trinity College). We need loads of people to come along and shout for the Saints! With church ending at 12.30pm it is an easy stroll down to Trinity for 13.00. Come on the Saints!!. Will you be 1 of the 100?
Kidz Klub short listed for AIB Better Ireland program
Kidz Klub has been chosen as one of three groups to benefit from the AIB Better Ireland Program. The more people who text in the greater chance of us obtaining maximum funding which could be as much as €5K. Each text equates to a vote. The voting phase takes place between the 15th February to 15th March. The more votes, more funding so please text in.

Easter Week
Easter week at CORE will start off with Easter Worship Together which will be led by a Small Group but open to everyone on Wednesday 31st March at 7:30pm. We will be looking at the theme of ‘The Garden’ – Matt 26: 36-56.
On Good Friday, 2nd April at 12:00 noon, we will have an hour at the Cross with the theme ‘The Crucifixion’ – Matt 27:32-61.
Easter Sunday
As a celebration on Easter Sunday morning we’re going to join together for an Easter breakfast in CORE at 9:30am which will be followed by a family service with Holy Communion at 10:30am. Please feel free to invite family and friends.
There will be no evening service on Easter Sunday.
Prayer requests
• Please pray for all in Haiti; for the relief effort; for Peter Gannon; for Tearfund and the other Relief agencies. We pray also for those in Chile following the recent earthquake.
• Please pray for Daphne, Philip and family as they journey on the road to recovery.
• Pray continue to pray for healing for those who were prayed for on Sunday.
• Please pray for a lady in the church called Mercy.
• Pray for the family of Tim Philips, who are mourning his loss; the Philips family have been close friends of Core for many years.
• Pray for a member of Core who is going through a difficult relationship.
• Pray for Salla and Paddy as they prepare for Baby number two
