20th Nov: David McClay (New Wine Ireland)
New Wine Training – Church Impacting Community – 19th November

On Saturday 19th November we are hosting a day with David and Hilary McClay looking at how the local church can make a real difference in the local community and see lives transformed by the gospel. We are opening this event to other local churches and people across the city so please spread the word and invite anyone you think may be interested. The day will run from 9.30 – 5pm and include teaching, stories, discussion and worship. The cost is €10 for the day, including lunch and refreshments. We don’t want anyone not to come because of the cost so if this is an issue for you please let us know and we can cover or subsidise the cost. *PLEASE BOOK IN BY EMAILING amy.corechurch@gmail.com TODAY!
We are looking for 6 volunteers to come and help prepare food and catering for the day. They would need to be at the church at 8am on the day. If you are up for doing this please contact James 01-4735100 or james@corechurch.ie.
Please note…

Dear all at C.O.R.E Church,
Some of you may be aware that occasionally we get people coming into the church to ask for money. In my experience I have found that if cash is the thing that is being requested there is usually more to the problem than you are being told and sometimes there is an addiction issue in the person’s life. I would be quite happy for anyone who is asked for money to send the person to me and I will deal with it in a Godly but firm way. Please don’t give cash as this sometimes exacerbates the problem. Paddy Heron.

Are you new to C.O.R.E?

If so you are very welcome and we are delighted to have you here. It you would like to make C.O.R.E at St. Catherine’s your home church please email your details to amy.corechurch@gmail.com so that we can add you to our database.
If you consider C.O.R.E to be your home church and would like to start giving to the church there are a number of ways you can do this:
1. Set up a Standing Order – there are forms for this at the noticeboard at the back of the church or you can download them on our website. All you need to do is fill out the form and bring it to your bank. We can claim back tax on giving by standing order.
2. Use the Envelope Scheme – This allows you to put in variable cash donations during the year in a way agreed with the Revenue that can count towards the tax relief.
3. Cash or cheque in the offering basket on Sunday – Cash given anonymously is much appreciated, however please note that it cannot be included in the tax-relief scheme.
