(PLEASE NOTE: the clocks are changing this weekend so you will lose an hours sleep and need to be in church an hour earlier… although it does mean bright evenings are coming!)

Mum’s Group – This Friday

A new group for Mums will be starting at CORE on Friday 23rd March 2012. This group is for any mums who would like to meet with other Christian mums for fellowship, prayer, coffee and chat in a supportive and relaxing setting. There will be toys and play activities for babies and pre-school children. The group will meet fortnightly on Friday mornings, from “” – 11.30am in CORE. Prayer for Healing Evening – Sunday 25th March

Our second Prayer for Healing evening will be taking place on Sunday 25th March at 7.30pm. This is open to anyone who would like prayer for healing so bring along friends or family who might be interested. Our last evening was a powerful time when we really saw God’s healing power at work not only in physical healing but also in transforming lives.

CHY2 Letters

By now anyone giving by envelope or standing order in 2011 should have received a CHY2 (Charity Tax Rebate) letter in the post. If you have not already returned it to us could you send it in ASAP (please check all details on it are correct!). If you have not received a letter or have any queries about your form please contact us in the office on 01-4735100.

‘Supernatural in the City’ with Causeway Coast Vineyard

On Saturday 31st March we are joined by a team from Causeway Coast Vineyard for a day of training and equipping in supernatural ministry. The plan for the day is:

11am – 5.30pm Worship, Teaching, Workshops & Outreach
(Break for dinner)
7.30 -9pm Evening worship and sharing stories from the day.

If you can’t come for the day we would love you to join us for the evening session. The team will also be staying with us for our Sunday morning service. There is no charge for the day but there will be an opportunity to make a donation to cover costs. If you plan on coming on Saturday can you please email amy.corechurch@gmail.com.. Also we are looking for a team of people to make and serve tea and coffee during the day, if you are able to do this can you please let Amy know

Evening of Soaking - Calling all Women!

Following on from the success of our ladies breakfast in December we are holding another event for the women of the church. This time we are going to hold an evening of soaking (worship, prayer and resting in Him) on Wednesday 18th April at 7.30 – 9.30pm here in St. Catherine’s. Susan Heaney will be bringing a ministry team from Redcross church to bless us. If you are a woman, of any age, please do come along and be blessed.

History Makers Conference

TROTB Ministries (The Repairers of the Breach) present History Makers Conference with Dr. John Joseph & Team. Topics covered include: Covenant Generation; Living in Holy Spirit Revelation; Knowing God’s Timing and Impacting lives.
When: 20th – 21st April
Where: CORE Church, Thomas Street.

Rachel Hickson ‘Kingdom Nights’ – This Weekend

This weekend Rachel Hickson will be at The Well (Mountain View Community Church). Friday and Saturday evening at 8pm. Rachel is a well-known prophetic teacher from the UK. You can check out Rachel’s website at http://www.heartcry.co.uk . There is no registration fee but offerings will be taken both evenings.

Prayer Requests and Thanksgivings

• Pray for Emma O’Hara who is in Dhaka studying Bangla for the next 3 months. Pray that she adjusts to this new place and routine, that she absorbs the language easily and pray protection over the ministry in Kolkata during her absence.
• Pray for Sandra from the local community that God would help her get to a stage where she is ready to go to Teen Challenge.
• Please pray for St. Catherine’s Youth Group that happens on a Tuesday night that God would fill their hearts with hope and purpose as they brainstorm a local project to help others.
• The Kennedy and Railton’s have asked that we continue to pray for Tomas’s healing and thank God for his goodness.
• Pray for the finances of the church that we would see God’s provision in order to continue the work that God has called us to.
• Pray for the children of the church. Pray that they would be set alight by the revelation of God and fanned into flame to minister Jesus in the world!
