Thanks so much to everyone for the great night of celebration last Saturday. It was a real blessing and we really appreciated it. A special thank you to Jon, Kathryn, Ruairi, Kate, John Foong , James and everyone else who helped to make this a wonderful time for us. All the videos shown on the night are up on www.dilysandrob.info Thanks also for your kind gifts, we loved them and the financial gift was extremely generous. Rob can now buy the coffee maker he always wanted ! We will be around until the 8th August and invite you all to come and join us then at our last service in CORE and then to attend Rob’s Institution service at 4pm in Holy Trinity Rathmines. Urban Soul

The annual Event “URBAN SOUL” (acts of indiscriminate kindness) is happening from Tuesday 6th July to Friday 9th July. It is based in Trinity church on Gardiner Street (The Exchange). There will be talks and worship each night of the event. The event consists of teams of youth with adult leaders going out to the community each day to do works of service. Anything from cleaning up gardens to painting to organising sports days. The evening events are open for anyone to come along but if you want to be involved in the “acts of indiscriminate kindness you need to register with http://www.urbansoul.eu/ I will report back after to let you all know how it went.

The New Wine Ireland summer holiday conference provides a great opportunity for you to spend time worshipping God, receiving from Him through practical teaching and prayer ministry, as well as meeting new people and spending time with family and friends. Mum to Mum event

Mum2Mum- 15 to 20 mums met for two evening sessions in June to hear Ruth Hill teach on “How to raise your children in a Godly way.” Ruth has a wealth of experience at parenting with four children and two grandchildren; and has a passion to impart her tips on parenting to other young mums. Ruth is humble but has a God given wisdom that was extremely evident at both evenings. The most valuable thing i learnt is that our children our Gods and He has entrusted them to us to raise them for Him. What an amazing privilege!!! He is there to help and guide us every step of the way. We looked at the challenges, frustrations, joys and rewards of parenting. Ruth created as safe environment for us to ask questions, openly share our worries and concerns and bring them before the Lord in prayer.

Prayer Requests

• We pray that the Lord will support Philomena O’Brien and her family
• Please pray for families in the community who have shown interest in coming to church on Sunday mornings. Pray that God will clear obstacles to them doing this.
• Please Pray for Fergus and Jenny for healing. Pray for God’s continued blessing on them.
• Pray for Collette Sammon as she recovers from surgery following an accident.
• Please pray for the Ryan family following the death of Con’s Sister Cathryn.
