Liberty Saints Rugby match
The result may have gone against us at the match on Sunday but as we all know it was much more than just a rugby match. It was disappointing for the players that they did not perform as well as a team as they have in the past and the occasion may have gotten to them but it was a great learning experience for them all. It was very encouraging to see so many people turn out to support the players and it was great to see the church mobilised into action. Thanks to all that came out in support and continued to shout for the guy’s right to the end. They will remember that for a long time.

Robert Jones New Appointment:
Revd. Robert Jones has been appointed as Vicar of the United Parish of Rathmines and Harold’s Cross, in what is an exciting new pioneer project. It will have as its aim, the task of reaching out to people, who are seeking an expression of the Christian faith more in tune with their own culture than traditional church worship. The hope is that it will bring new life to the parish.
The proposed Installation date will be in late afternoon of 8th August.

Congratulations to Paddy and Salla Heron on the safe arrival of Conor Juhani who was born on Tuesday 16th March.

Kidz Klub AIB Better Ireland Funding
We did it!
Many Thanks to all who voted for Kidz Klub over the last month. It paid off and we got the most votes of the three projects that were short listed. We will be receiving a cheque for 5K shortly that will go towards the running costs of Kidz Klub and the youth group on Tuesday nights.

Easter Week
Easter week at CORE will start off with Easter Worship Together which will be led by a Small Group but open to everyone on Wednesday 31st March at 7:30pm. We will be looking at the theme of ‘The Garden’ – Matt 26: 36-56.
On Good Friday, 2nd April at 12:00 noon, we will have an hour at the Cross with the theme ‘The overcoming power of the Cross’ – Matt 27:32-61.
Easter Sunday
As a celebration on Easter Sunday morning we’re going to join together for an Easter breakfast in CORE at 9:30am which will be followed by a family service with Holy Communion at 10:30am. Please feel free to invite family and friends.
There will be no evening service on Easter Sunday.
Prayer requests
• Please pray for Daphne, Philip and family as they journey on the road to recovery.
• Pray for a member of Core who is going through a difficult relationship.
• Pray for Salla and Paddy as they give thanks for the safe arrival of Connor
