Uganda Trip
“On March 14th Graham Kinch and Ian Taylor, will fly out to Uganda. Graham and Ian climbed Mt Everest in the spring of 2008 to raise money for the Kitandwe school project in partnership with the Irish charity Fields of Life.
On the 16th of March they will visit Kitandwe in Western Uganda for the official opening of the Mt Everest Kitandwe school. This will conclude a 3 year project in which they climbed Mt Everest and in the last year, thanks to huge support raised €60,000 for the school.
Whilst the visit to Uganda will be a joyous occasion for all, they would appreciate prayer support for all of the logistics of the trip, in particular for spiritual protection as they enter a country steeped in superstition and witchcraft.
Following the opening of the school they will then spend some time in Rwanda and possibly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and would again appreciate prayer support for protection in this politically volatile part of the world.
Graham and Ian would like to acknowledge the huge support for this project they have received from CORE over the last 18 months and would like to offer their sincere thanks for the continued support in this the final leg of the journey.”
