The Life Course

The Life Course

What is the meaning of life? Why am I here? Is there life after I die? These are perhaps the most asked questions in our society today. But where are many people finding possible answers? Maybe with Richard Dawkins the famous atheist? Or with Patsy McGarry in the Irish Times? Or perhaps on Sky News or on a psychic late night radio talk show? We as Christians believe that Jesus is “the way, the truth and the LIFE” and it is the responsibility of the Christian to be always “able to give an answer to the faith we profess.”

The LIFE course started in CORE on Wednesday night last and will continue each Wednesday until 12th November and will culminate with a day away on the 15th November. The course is a wonderful opportunity for you to ask your friends, family, work colleagues along to a safe place where they can ask questions about life and spirituality. The evening , which starts at 7:00 and finishes about 9:30, and consists of a meal, testimony, talk and discussion group.
The course is free, but people, can make donations if they wish.
All you have to do is ask people to come along and they can register by filling in one of the fliers in CORE and giving it into the core office, or else signing up online at http://corechurch.ie/resources/online_booking.
