Balbriggan Sports Day
We had such a fun day in Balbriggan on Saturday. Paddy and team left CORE with a bus full of kids and arrived in Balbriggan just around noon where the fun and games began. The rain held off for the most part which was great and we even saw the sun once or twice! This was important for the olympics events that followed – spud & spoon races right across to the welly chuck! We went to the beach too and I think every single child got into the sea. Sunshine house was our base for the day and here we enjoyed lunch and a great time playing in the playground. Finishing the day with a medals/trophys ceremony simple concluded a really great fun day out!
