Esther - feedback
Friday night’s Esther was a much-needed time-out from the rush and mayhem of life. As usual, a friendly welcome awaited us as we arrived (cushions in hand). There was time to unwind and catch up with friends over some really good pizza. Then we found ourselves a space on the floor & made ourselves comfy. We spent time worshipping together and drawing into God’s presence. Then, a rare and beautiful thing happened- we were presented with the opportunity to just take some time out, get comfy with our cushions, and just be with God. Nothing to do or plan or clean or fuss over; just being in God’s presence and letting him speak to each of us personally. The team was there to pray with those of us who wanted prayer. They also anointed us with oil- a touching experience. The lack of structured activities left space for God to move and speak as He wished, and His presence was certainly close. Thanks to all the Esther team for a very special night. – Helena Goss
