CORE Nepal Trip
This March a team of 10 people from CORE are heading to Nepal on an aid and support mission. Working with our partners in Kathmandu, Milap Church and Himalayan Outreach Training Centre (HOT) the team will offer training to field workers in First Aid and Water / Well installation.
The team have been preparing hard and fundraising for this challenging trip. They will bring over €10,000 in direct aid which will be used for the purchase of Water Pumps and Well installation materials. Our hope is that this will help to combat the many problems which arise from poor condition water sources in Nepal. Local church workers will be trained by the team in many aspects of finding convenient water sources and in the construction of wells and the installation of village pumps. Many generous donors in Ireland have bought theses pumps as Christmas gifts for relatives and friends.
