Nepal Trip 2008
CORE are facilitating a two team trip to Nepal from March 13th to 28th, 2008. One Team will be on a Prayer Trek and will also raise funds to finance our work in Nepal. The trip will include Langtang Village, Kenjing Gompa, Syabru Bensi, Chitwan Safari Park and Kathmandu.
The second team is a Mission to villages in the west of Nepal where our partner Milap Church and an organization (HOT) which trains church planters want to support new plants. The basic idea is to walk to a number of villages and give seminars on water schemes, health and hygiene and to pray with the sick and troubled. On a previous trip we found the need and since then have provided pumps for villages around Nepal.
The mission team will be about 10 in all and will consist of people with engineering/water skills and experience, medical skills (Doctor / Nurses), logistics and of course prayer ministers. We will be supported by a local team of porters, interpreters, Christian leaders and new planters. All of the villages and projects will be chosen by HOT.
