Grand Canal Street Small Group is a fun caring and Christ focussed group. Each evening consist of 3 main areas – worship, bible study & prayer and each term we focus on a particular theme for our bible studies. You are so welcome to come along and join us to be encouraged in your faith and lifted up sincerely in prayer by fellow believers.
Mums & Tots

Mums and Tots exists to provide a supportive, accepting environment where mums (and dads!) can build friendships and share experiences while their pre-school age children play together. During each session there is a time of group prayer for each other and there is always coffee and cake on tap!

A typical evening kicks off at 7:30 with a cup of tea & chat. There are always updates to be shared on up coming events and special occurrences going on in our lives. A different person each week comes prepared to lead us in praise & worship – to remind us of who God is and his loving grace that surrounds our lives. This can be personal testimony, meditating on scripture, sung worship, creative prayer… or all off the above!!
We study the bible with the help of fantastic bible study guide books. Each week two people take the book home and read the next chapter, they then facilitate the next week’s group discussion. This usually brings us to 9:30 when some people need to shoot on home and others hang around for a while to chat.
Small group doesn’t start and end with a weekly bible study… we keep in touch though group email and texts, attend each others birthday celebrations, uphold each other in prayer and pastoral ministry and serve together on practical service projects.

Our small group is made up of about 15 people, mostly in their mid-20’s to mid-30’s. We are a mix of married and single, working in various sectors (private, public, non-profit), new believers and life-long believers, exploring together how to deepen and work out our faith.
We usually start an evening with some form of worship, followed by teaching, and we end with some time in prayer. We take it in turn to lead the teaching. The final week of the month, we host the Bingo night at CORE for those in the local community.
Anyone is welcome to join our small group- if you’d like to come along once to see if it is for you we’d love to have you.
Foxrock

We are a group of people hungry for more of God. We share life’s ups and downs, and encourage one another, pray for each other and our families and friends. We have an active interest in mission situations. We sing, prophesy and hear from God through the Bible.
Highlights are toast and marmalade each week, the Christmas party and a summer BBQ!!!

Thomas Street small group was originally formed from members of two Alpha Courses who wished to continue meeting together and we welcome new members to come and join us. We are a mixed bunch of folks, some who have followed Jesus a while and new followers as well. Ages range from late 20’s to 50, and we’re from varied walks of life and professions. A typical night consists of teaching, which is shared among us, and discussion. We have refreshments throughout and finish up with prayer. We also assist with the Bingo nights in CORE. Occasionally we go out for a meal or drinks.

We are a relaxed and welcoming group of people with different backgrounds and life experiences. To us, small group is where we meet to glorify God, worship him in song and prayer and learn from his word. At our meetings we share life’s ups and downs, pray for each other and encourage each other in our gifts and our walk with God. No question is too small to ask and no one has all the answers! Once a month we have a meal together. We look forward to increasing in number and would be delighted to welcome new members.

We’re a mix of different aged students, professionals and mum’s who meet together to worship God and discuss the Bible and life issues. We want to encourage, build up and support each other in teaching, prayer and the prophetic. Everyone always participates, even in small ways. We have a meal together on the 4th Wednesday of the month.
