Every Tuesday during term time the back rooms at CORE are flung open for you and your pre school children to join us from 10am until noon.
For the Children
For the children we aim to provide a safe, fun and relaxed environment where they can play together. With the older children we may also have a time of singing or doing a more organised activity.
For the Mums
For the mums (and dads!) you are welcomed into a supportive, accepting environment where, over coffee and cake, you can build friendships and share experiences with other people also looking after young children. During each session there is a time of group prayer for each other.
Summer Activity Tuesdays
During the summer the group does not meet regularly, but various Summer Activity Tuesdays are planned (weather permitting!) and advertised at CORE and on the website. These will be free activities such as trips to the park or to the beach.
You don’t need to book in… just turn up!
Over the past few years, Mums and Toddlers has become one of the anchors of my week. As a Mum of three young children, life is busy and it’s easy to lose meaningful contact with other adults. Tuesday mornings are a time-out. It’s a safe place where our children can play while we get to share the joys and demands of life. We also pray with each other, for our situations and our children. The connection reassures me that I’m not alone and I am doing a good job. All this and coffee, cake and biscuits – who could ask for more?!

Mums and Tots is buzzing with energetic toddlers and wide eyed babies. To support our vision of creating a space for friendship, fun and prayer for both the kids and the parents we would love your help!
If you enjoy interacting with toddlers, singing songs, playing games, creating energetic mayhem and you’re free from 9.45am to 12.15 on Tuesday, get in touch!
