St Catherine’s Church, with its central location, is an ideal conference, event or meeting venue. We are approximately a 15-minute walk from O’Connell Bridge and are very adequately served with many cross-city bus routes. The Luas light-rail transport system passes within a 5 minute walk to the church also. There is a multi-storey car park opposite the church for those driving and a taxi rank beside the church.
St Catherine’s was completely renovated in 1998 and now offers the beautiful combination of a listed building venue with thoroughly modern, flexible facilities.
St Catherine’s has hosted many concerts and social events for local and national community groups, local initiatives and business seminars. Some organisations that have availed of the facilities of CORE include:

Our Facilities
Seating
The main auditorium can seat 275 people comfortably in a variety of layouts:
- Theatre style in four sections with two centre aisles of seats and smaller aisles under the side balconies
- One block of seats
- An alternative layout of your choice can be accommodated
There is a central raised stage at the front of the church/auditorium.
We also have smaller rooms available for seminars or smaller meetings.
Audio-Visual
The auditorium boasts state-of-the-art audio-visual facilities, including a 28 channel sound desk with recording facilities, DVD/video/computer projection (Apple Mac & PC, plus vision mixer) to two large screens at the front of the church and six smaller screens at strategic points to accommodate viewing from any point.
Hand-held and headset microphones are available and the lighting system is fully adjustable.
Catering
Catering facilities are currently being upgraded, so tea/coffee and light refreshments can only be offered at present. An excellent catering company can be recommended, if needed, or you are welcome to bring in your own catering.
